PEGASUS is being developed around explicit authority, bounded action, and evidence proportionate to consequence.
Identity before action
The person, organization, account, and operating context must be correctly bound before consequential work proceeds.
Permission before consequence
Access to a connected system does not create authority. Actions should remain within an explicit, reviewable permission boundary.
Verification before claim
An intended or initiated action is not presented as a completed outcome until the relevant state is checked again and supported by evidence.
Minimum necessary context
Use should be limited to the information and capability reasonably needed for the authorized purpose. Public surfaces deliberately exclude private pilot data and proprietary operational detail.
No deceptive impersonation
PEGASUS should not be used to impersonate a person, official, agency, or organization, or to present machine-generated output as an unattributed human statement.
No bypassing legal or organizational controls
PEGASUS should not be used to circumvent law, regulation, contractual obligations, security controls, or an organization's own approval and oversight processes.
No autonomous escalation beyond approved scope
Capability should not expand itself. Work stays inside the approved scope, and anything beyond it requires a new, explicit human authorization.
Controlled pilots
Pilots should define scope, accountable owners, authority, evidence standards, stop conditions, and review cadence before operational use. Deployment-specific policy — acceptable use, data handling, escalation paths, and review — is defined jointly during an engagement rather than assumed from this page.
